At Seashell Dive Centre we offer a PADI Open Water Course referral program which runs all the year round. This allows you to start your PADI Open Water course at home with your local PADI dive centre, finish it here in Malta with Seashell Dive Centre.
With this referral program, you are able to complete the theory and confined water exercises (normally pool sessions) with your local instructors, giving you the flexibility to complete these elements of the course pressure-free, in your own time frame, closer to home. This can be done with any PADI dive centre, there are no restrictions and no lists!
Once you have all the basic theory and skills under your belt you will be ready to travel to Malta to complete your open water training in the clear warm Mediterranean sea, enjoying the perfect diving conditions, colourful marine life and beautiful weather.
With this stress-free, 4-night getaway, you will experience first hand why so many people get hooked on scuba diving and what could be better than to complete your first open water dives in some of the best diving sites in the world?

Suggested itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival into Malta
Check into 4 star Hotel & Spa, take some time to get your bearings and explore the local village, Mellieha.
Day 2 - 2 open water dives
You are now ready to take your first two dives in the morning. You will then have the afternoon free to relax at your hotel and relive the excitement of your first open water diving experience.
Day 3 - 2 open water dives
Now your confidence has been boosted from the previous days diving experience, you will do two more dives at new and exciting dive sites.
Day 4 - Free day
After all of your hard work, your last full day in Malta can be spent relaxing by the pool, or alternatively, by taking an excursion to the capital, Valletta, or the old city of Mdina.
Day 5 - Check out
It's time to check out and fly home, but don't worry, with your new diving qualification obtained you'll be planning your next diving trip before you know it!
